rn off the Performance FYI notifications for Approvals in the process flow of a performance document

Need to Turn off the Performance FYI notifications for Approvals in the process flow of a performance document:

We want to turn off the notifications going to managers tha the First Approval in the performance document flow was rejected or accepted (and the notifications about the approval step as a whole). We have a specific reason for doing this and believe the emails will cause confusion.

I have tried looking in the following places:

• Performance> Setup and Maintenace> Talent Notifications: there did not seem to be any uncheckable options related to this process
• Tools> Transaction Module: I see that there are some settings that live there regarding these notifications (I was able to change the "approver" path). But I cannot find any oracle documentation on how to specifically just turn off all of the notifications related to this process
