Is there a way to update the Life event date while there is a change in the hire or termination date

Is there a way to update the Life event date while there is a change in the hire date and termination date of an employee by HR. HR team does have access to make changes in Benefit and it causes delay in processing with correct dates. In case of future hire date change, there is a restriction but for termination date change is there any possibility we can achieve to void/delete automatically the life events and add new life event with corrected hire or termination date?
