Can we use Journal Approval spreadsheet for changes if FinGlJournalApproval was developed in BPM

Summary:

Oracle Consultants developed FinGlJournalApproval using BPM development. Logic is simple - GL Journals approvals route to accounting groups based on company code (found in segment 1 and or intercompany segment 4) in our 7 segment distribution chart of accounts. Only 1 member of the group has to approve.

Reviewing description of Journal Approval Template 1, this seems like the correct spreadsheet to use if the accounting groups change and need to approve distribution lines for different companies or ranges need to be modified to accommodate a new accounting approval group.

Can we use the Journal approval template 1 feature? I am not sure how to test if we can. Is there a past webinar that would help gain more knowledge. Thanks for feedback.
