Restricting the list of positions for Line Manager Role

Summary: We have given access to Line Manager to be able to Request a New position and request a position change. These Line managers should be able to create or update positions only belonging to Department which is either their own assignment department or any department under their department in department tree.

To achieve this I did below

  1. Create Organization security profile with Secure by Org Hierarchy option with checkbox "Use the department on users assignment"
  2. Create a position sec profile by selecting the above Organization sec profile
  3. Assigned these 2 sec profiles in line manager role

Then I tested with 1 user having just line manager role and everything is now working as per expectation as in LM can only see those Positions which are under their own Dept in Dept Tree.
