Can we upload ratings to a perf doc & make if visible w/o mgr & emp opening the doc?

Summary:

We do not want to have full appraisals for 2023 but need to record the ratings for a select group of employees. We have the ratings and would like to upload them via HDL so they can be seen by the manager and employee. Is there a way to create a document that is visible and can contain the ratings without the manager and employee having to open the document.
