Customer uses custom phase in the candidate selection process, "Hire", instead of the standard "HR phase" (move to HR) to indicate the candidates that will be moved internally. When the recruiter fill the requisition manually all the applications go to the status rejected by employer
The application status then shows as "Hire, Rejected by Employer" from HR\Admin prospective and "Not Retained" from end-user UI.
In both cases we tried to customize the page using a sandbox with the following tools but we weren't successful.

2. User Interface Text for Opportunity MarketPlace UI (user)
