What happens to the existing enrollments when a person loses eligibility ?

What happens to the existing enrollments when a person loses eligibility

  1. Does that person gets de-enrolled automatically from all of his existing enrollments ?
  2. or it continues to be enrolled unless we process some life event for that person

please advise.
