Are we able to hide the Time Totals on the time card approval notifications

We have the requirement to simplify the Time Card approval notification page to improve user experience and make it more concise with only the relevant information showing.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Our organisation only uses time card functionality for submitting extra hours worked and shift allowance. Therefore, the users do not need to see areas such as Time Totals (which includes information such as schedule hours, schedule deviation, absence hours, none of which are relevant to the users and look confusing).

We have tried to edit the TimecardApprovalNotificationBulkTemplate (as well as TimecardApprovalNotificationTemplate) file however after removing those regions from the template they still seem to appear:
