Benefits fast formula for Voluntary Critical Illness- Spouse Plan

edited Apr 19, 2024 6:48PM in Benefits 2 comments

Summary:

  1. The fast formula was to allow the allow an employee to enroll their spouse into Voluntary Critical Illness – Spouse plan, if they themselves were enrolled at the employee level.
  2. The spouse could only enroll at the same level or less than the employee.
  3. The issue is with the coverage not being created for the options.
  4. Oracle allowed us to enroll in Critical Illness Spouse coverage without Critical Illness Employee Waived election. This was functioning properly through Open Enrollment
  5. Below are the steps used to create the coverage.
    1. Navigate to Benefits Administration > Plan configuration > Rates and Coverages tab > Coverages
    2. Search with plan name = Voluntary Critical Illness-Spouse to make sure the coverages are not present

Howdy, Stranger!
