Intercompany balancing logic

What is the intercompany balaancing Logic to define the driver company(BSV)?

I mean, How Oracle defines that a Journal is One-to-Many, Many-to-Many, Many-to-One? Is there a way to change the default logic?

For example:

Journals below, it seems Oracle first summarize/net the lines per legal entity, then defines the type of the intercompany(one-to-many, manay-to-many, etc), the if it is one-to-many, the one company is going to be the driver. Is that the correct assumption? If s, could it be changed?
