Can I cancel a 2nd payment from the manage installments page?

Summary:

We have an invoice we created for $20k, with 2 separate payment dates of 01/01/2024 and 07/01/2024 of $10k each payment via the manage installments tab.

The business line would like to cancel the second payment of $10k on 07/01/2024. However I don't see a way to remove the 2nd installment we have created and then update the invoice amount to be only $10k. Is there a way to do this, or is it maybe dependent on our config allowing updates to invoice amount after payment or posting has processed?
