MOBILE APPS: RESPONSYS ANDROID SUPPORT FOR FIREBASE CLOUD MESSAGING (FCM) - HTTP v1 API

Reminder, if impacted, you must adopt the Firebase Cloud Messaging HTTP v1 API before June 1, 2024

URGENT: If you have Android app(s) installed in your Oracle Responsys account, please take action before June 1, 2024; else Android app delivery will fail starting June 1, 2024.

  • Specifically, please update your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) certificates, and make the corresponding changes in your Responsys "" account before June 1, 2024.
  • Starting June 1, 2024, Google will stop accepting connections via their deprecated FCM legacy APIs, and Android app message delivery will fail for anyone using the FCM leagacy APIs. Google deprecated these APIs on June 20, 2023.
