error in enrolling benefits to employee

Hello,

When trying to enroll benefits for employee, i am receiving error

"A payroll ID is required for determining pay periods. Ensure that the person has a valid payroll on the processing date. (BEN-990362)
This error occurred in the package ben_distribute_rates.get_periods_between. Contact your benefits administrator for a trace file review"

while there is payroll relationship tagged correctly and yet this error. how else can this be rectified ?
