Is it possible to update an AP Invoice line without using a hashkey?

Currently using ReadyAPI. There is a requirement to update an invoice line DFF. I understand using restAPI we need to have a hashkey that we could get by running getInvoice. However, we are trying explore different option. So, im wondering if there is a way we can update an invoice line not using hashkey as identifier?
