How to fetch the journey task status of the preceding task within a journey task?

We have onboarding Journey on Day 1 where Line Manager needs to complete the RTW(Right to Work) on Day 1.

Requirement is to check if RTW task is not completed by LM on Day 1 then it should trigger a notification to Line Manager and LM + 1 hierarchy on Day 2.

Can we fetch the task status (not completed) in the next task?

Please let me know how to achieve this requirement.
