Reinstatement scenario - Need a workaround

Hi,

We have two assignments statuses - 'Pending LTD" and "LTD" and whenever there is any changes in assignment status the assignment status life event gets triggered for the employee.

We have a scenario where in

Employee is in pending LTD Eg: 01-May 2024, when employee is on pending LTD the coverage should end at the end of the month. When the employee gets accepted into the LTD his assignment status will be 'LTD' and the start date of the coverage will be 01-May-2024. Basically when employees are on LTD status the coverage will be reinstated when the pending LTD first began i.e 01-MAy-2024.
