Reminder frequency before due date

Hello,

I'd need a clarification on how reminders' frequency works when set as "before due date". In the case represented below, if the task is ongoing starting from today (24/6) and due date is set on 2/7, does it mean that the first reminder will be sent on 25/6 and will be repeated daily until 2/7 (7 days)?
