Can some of the journey tasks only be assigned to employees with line manager eligibility?

We are assigning a companywide training journey to all employees and want some of the journey tasks to only be completed by employees that have the line manager eligibility profile. It is my understanding that would be accomplished within the edibility profile of the task? We do not want the task to completed by the line manager of the employee, just employees that have the line manager profile in HCM. Thanks for your help.
