How to add "People to cover" option in life insurance plan

Summary:

The requirement is to configure the Optional Dependent Life Insurance plan.
Employees can typically choose to purchase this coverage during open enrollment periods or when they experience a qualifying event. Dependents eligible for coverage include a spouse and children.

Employee needs to have the option to select the dependent while choosing the plan. Usually we can configure the Medical Plan type plans to designate dependents. And employee gets the "People to Cover" list to select the dependents.
We need the similar functionality here.
Is there any way to get this functionality in Life Insurance type plan?
