Redwood Guided Journeys Report and Analytics Task Type Dynamic Parameters

Summary:

All Page Composer changes (Hyperlinks and Embedded Reports) our client uses on RUI pages need to be solutioned with Guided Journeys for Redwood Pages. Our client uses BIP reports that pass parameters. The only way to solution for this on Redwood pages is by making a Guided Journey with task types of either "Analytics" or "Report."

If we use the "Analytics" task type, we will need to convert all our reports from BIP reports to OTBI reports which may not be possible for all of our reports. Additionally, we are only able to use the "Person ID" and "Assignment ID" parameters on HCM pages which would not allow us to solution for all our client's report requirements due to the need to use additional parameters. Due to this limitation, we looked into the "Report" task type.
