Business event/trigger/WF not working when product is imported from PIM

Summary:

Hi,

Our products come from CPQ to PIM, and then we use scheduled process "Import sales products from PIM" to display the products in Sales Products UI.
In this step we have an integration in OIC that need to be triggered, every time a product from PIM is imported to Sales Product.

However, we couldn't find a way of identifying when the product is imported to Sales Product. We tried many options, such as:
- before insert trigger
- after create trigger
- OWF for product with creation event
- OWF for product with update event


Also, I didn't find any information in the knowledge base nor in the community.
