Enable "Update Profile" option on Performance Template

Want to update a performance template instead of creating a new one for our FDI environment.

We are trying to make a minor update to an In Use template, but in the Structure Tab, several options when we go in to the template to edit it are greyed out.

Looking for guidance on how to update these settings without having to create a whole new template. I have seen some information online during my own research that suggests that maybe deleting performance documents that use this template in order to make changes, but we have not tried that as it seems like a destructive action to take.
