Career sites: filter job list with javascript

So I created a filter to the location using javascript and I need to filter the job list widget on the home page with the value selected, is that possible in any way? If not, do you have any suggestions on how to do it?

I wonder if it is possible to change through javascript the criteria set when you configure the widget.
