when we check Prohibit self-approval by users named in these payload attributes, expenses are not go

Summary:

Manager is on vacation leave and he adds vacation rule by assigning all his approvals to one of his direct reportee who is on same level. We have checked Prohibit self-approval for expenses to restrict users from self approving the expenses. So when that direct reportee submit the expense report they are getting struck without initiating for approval.

Could anyone please help if there is any option to restrict in adding direct reportee's when adding vacation rule.

Or when a direct reportee submits the expense report instead of getting struck that it goes to users manager manager.
