Using Engagement Engine Logging to log in-page data

Based upon the description of logging and reporting in the manual, it would seem that we should be able to log page level data to an EE Event in the events table, however the method of doing that is never described. I'm hoping this is an oversight in the documentation and not an incorrect expectation on my part. We're already logging successful conversions and chat offer/acceptance. The last piece we need to tie that back to a full ROI report would be the sales amount of completed sales. With that we would be able to see if chat acceptance tended
