Chat and or email dashboards

Im looking to build a chat and or email dashboards which can show me everything related to chats or emails within a given time frame (Date created).

Im just wondering if anyone has built a dashboard already that they would like to share with me that I can use or at least be a starting point.

Designing reports isn't my strong point.
