Profile option HZ_IMP_DEFAULT_GEO_VALID_ADDRESS

Summary:

When I look at descriptions of the profile option HZ_IMP_DEFAULT_GEO_VALID_ADDRESS, it seems I can activate address validation during for example customer integration by setting the option value to 'Yes'. I assume this is valid even if validation is not activated in the geography set up for the countries in question.

My question is: If I set the value to 'No', will this suppress address validation for customers from a country, for which the address validation is activated in the geography set up?
