How to continue deductions until owed amount is reached if benefit element is cancelled or end dated.

What do we need to do to keep the benefit element entry active? We need the employee’s benefits profile to reflect ‘Decline’ as of the date of cancellation but ensure that we are still recouping any missed premiums from before cancellation – is there a manual intervention that can be done to keep the element entry active while the benefits profile shows declined coverage?
