Resource Instance not displayed in Maintenance Transaction History - My Maint. Work

When I use the My Maintenance work UI to execute transactions against a maintenance work order—including a resource transaction where I assign a Resource Instance to the transaction—the resource instance field is empty when I validate the transaction in Manage Maintenance Transaction History.

Since I had charged the transaction to my resource instance—who is a listed Employee—I would have expected that the instance would have been associated with the transaction, but it was not.
