Reports giving different results

Hi colleagues,

I may be missing something very obvious but I am looking for your help. Running out-the-box reports 3008 and 3009 for the same period gives slightly different results for what I think should be the same data. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? 

Also 3009 is showing as updated on 13 September 2016 is there an explanation why this will be teh case with the creation date staying at 2007?
