What performance data gets transferred to new manager when using Transfer action ?

My client has 1 LE but has multiple agencies set up as BUs/departments so data visibility will be restricted by AOR with a scope of BU/department. When doing a Transfer, what performance data can the old BU/Dept see and what performance data can the new BU/department see as either HR or LM? Does performance data not get transferred via the Transfer action and can only be transferred from the Performance area?
