How to record receipt directly from bank statement?

Hello,

How can we record a receipt directly from a bank statement,
for example if the customer pays to the bank, and our sales person goes to the bank to collect and manually enter the receipt, to avoid all this process can we record the receipt directly from the bank statement if yes how.
