While trying to edit job application in career site required fields are getting optional

We have been made few fields mandatory in the (HCM Design studio : Define Application Flow Required Fields) for the experience (we set Start Date and End date as required fields) attribute , so the fields are working as expected while submitting the job application, once after submitting when we try to edit the job application in the profile from career site (as a Candidate)the mandatory fields are not reflected as required and It's become optional.

Please assist on this.
