Delivered Custom components doesn't work after repacking

Summary:

Hi Team, we have a skill which works out of the box. If we download the custom components, without making any changes just repack it using (npm install, npm pack) and re-upload in the skill. The skill stops working and we get an error in the chat saying "Oops I'm encountering a spot of trouble. Please try again later." This is happening in multiple skills mainly related to the skills from Peoplesoft.
