Employee's mistakenly enrolled in multiple option for a plan, They are getting error Message.

For an unrestricted plan, in a previous enrollment, the employee mistakenly chose both the employee and waive option. We are not aware of the previous configuration set up. Now, after doing option limitation and running the LE, they are getting ERROR, "You might already be enrolled in the plan or selected more than the limit of 1 option." Review the enrollment guidelines for this offering or contact your benefits representative." So how to resolve this for the employee who chose two options in their previous enrollment?
