Benefits option update

I have the following scenario: I have several people enrolled in a health plan under the 'Participant' option. Starting next month, a new option will be added to the plan. I need to transfer people from the current option to the new one. By bulk operation, I can register them in the new option, but how do I 'uncheck' or end the previous option, removing the people currently enrolled in it?
