Manage revaluations - multiple ledgers use the same revaluation rule

Hi team,

Our user have some confusions on the manage revaluations and need a official answer from Oracle team.

  1. Why the data access set can limit the user ledger access but when user turn to revaluation, they can see all BU's revaluation rule? Is this because the revaluation is a share rule definition function for all BU which share the same COA structure, no matter the data access?

2. If the revaluation is based on the COA, why it need to specific the Gain/loss account combination including the company segment? As one COA may shared with multiple ledgers.

3. For now, we have the situation which multiple ledgers share the same revaluation rules. But the unrealized gain or loss account only can maintain 1 fixed account combination. User want to have a clarification on why the company code cannot change automatically when they select the data access and check the rule. If the rule always keep the same as the selected gain/loss account combination, why we click "Generate" base on the same rule with different ledgers, the company code can change automatically in the journals?

Howdy, Stranger!
