Do you amend HCM notifications which are now in Redwood format using VB Studio ?

For custom notifications ie change salary which are now in redwood UI format, is the content of them still amended using OBI or do you now amend them using VB Studio, as following a release upgrade previous notification customisations done via OBI have now been knocked out ?
