How to meet EU Regulations regarding Contingent Workers accessing Internal Job Requisitions
We need to have a solution to meet the legal requirements of the EU Law stating that Contingent and Agency Workers should have visibility of internal job opportunities (specifics below).
If we add a privilege to the Contingent Worker role to allow Contingent Workers to access Opportunity Marketplace, then this gives them the ability to see the roles. However if they then go on and apply for a role via OM, then they are treated as Internal Candidates, rather than external.
Also, whilst these regulations are in the EU, the opposite rule is in place in the rest if the world, where Contingent Workers should not be able to view internal job requisitions.
