Removing non-breaking space HTML tags from report results

Is there any way to hide these by using custom scripts within the report? Some answers have 50 &nbsp in a row and it's distracting when attempting to read the content.

I really don't want to have to scrub all the answers manually to get rid of this HTML. Thanks for any insight
