Recommended option to connect to ATP DB from VBCS - Tenant DB or ORDS

Hi Team,

We are using VBCS(comes with OIC) for building some complex UI extension. As the volume of data would be high, we'll be using ATP DB connectivity to store the data or perform complex logic.

We want to check the recommended option between Tenant Database connectivity using predefined schema vs ORDS Rest API as connectivity option.

We are having complex logic, multiple data retrieval and insert as part of our extension and wanted to understand the best option which we can go with.

Following Oracle doc talks about both the option but not very conclusive to help with the decision.
