Access Repeating activities from REST API

Hi, I am looking to delete a repeating activity from API in one of my plugin. How can we delete instance of repeating activity through API?

use case is we have repeating activities for assignment of trucks to drivers. Now, lets say if truck went out of service for a specific day and driver needs to remove his current assigned truck (Dispatchers are not available athat time time and also we are not giving dispatch console visibility to drivers).

  1. Do repeating activities have an aid (activity ID) ?
  2. Is it possible to delete an instance of a repeating activity via API ?
