Collection Promise to Pay - Put task on Hold

Summary:

Hi,

We have a requirement to a delinquent transaction strategy task - Ex: dunning correspondence On Hold when there is a Open/Collectible Promise open for the transaction.

As per the tests we see mixed or inconsistent results.

After creating future dated Promise and running ESS job process strategy task:

In some cases the task either Manual or Automatic goes on hold. Whereas in other cases the Task gets Processed to Completed.

Need help in understanding what is the behavior of PTP and task status, and how to get the process to behave consistently.

in the below example all tasks were in To be Created status before the Promise creation. After Promise creation and Ess job run. The 1st tasks got completed. and after another ESS job run the 2nd task went On Hold. Expected to see only the 1st task go On Hold.
