Enhancing Candidate Data Privacy in Oracle Recruiting Cloud: Options for Application Deletion

In Oracle Recruiting Cloud, candidates currently have the option to withdraw their job applications. However, one of our customers has requested an additional feature that allows candidates to delete their job applications entirely. This would include the removal of all associated candidate data from the customer’s instance.

I’m interested in exploring whether Oracle Recruiting Cloud currently supports this functionality or if there are any workarounds to achieve this outcome. Additionally, I’d like to understand the implications of such a feature on data privacy and compliance, especially in the context of global data protection regulations.

Has anyone in the community encountered a similar requirement or found a solution to enable candidates to delete their applications and associated data? If so, what steps were taken, and what challenges were encountered during the implementation process? Let’s share our experiences and insights on this topic.
