Can you use Custom Scripts to update incident data?
Is it possible to use custom scripts to update an incident if certain conditions in a report are met?
If a value in Column 3 = X update status in Colum 5 to Y
Our Service cloud has custom work so one incident can be associated with another one via a parent child relationship. Unfortunately when the child incident updates I can't use rules to update the parent.
I was wondering if a custom script in a report that is regularly scheduled could be a work around. I don't think custom scripts can be used that way, but it would be helpful if it could be.
