Report filter based on Logged in profile

Hey, 

Is there a way to dynamically filter a report based on the logged in Profile? I have a requirement were a specific type of incidents should only be visible to a particular set of users. One obvious solution is to create two reports based on Type filter and assign appropriate reports to the Navigation set, I am interested in any other options available.
