Embedding VBCS Application Extension in Journey task

We have built a simplified version of the Family and Emergency Contact form in VBCS. This is now opened through an External URL task but it would be really nice if this could be embedded directly in the task itself. I once received the below roadmap which seems to address this. Is this still on the roadmap?
