Impact on talent profile page due to large volume of licences/certification data

edited Feb 10, 2025 1:07PM in Career and Succession

Hi

Our customer is in the transportation & logistics business and is the world's largest. It is imperative to their business that employees complete and maintain a large number or certifications. This is critical to them being qualified and active to do their jobs.

The process in which the certifications are sent to the Talent profile are two-fold:

  • received as learning outcomes when learning assignments are completed.
  • manually entered directly on the Talent profile in some cases

Due to the nature of the certifications and jobs, most certifications have a validity and need to be periodically renewed( e.g., yearly, quarterly etc). This leads to a very large amount of certifications data being managed in the employee's Talent Profile. It is normal for one employee to sometimes have 100 certifications and resulting entries in the Talent profile per year, leading to 100s or even 1000s in the future. We would therefore like to understand,

Howdy, Stranger!
