Tracking original party details in case of customer merge

Context: If two customers are merged, one of party (Child party) is lost and account/sites of this child party is tagged to parent party.

My query: Is there any way to track the original party details (which is now lost) based on site which is now assigned to another party. This is required for internal reporting where Customer Service team would like to know the original customer to which the site belong To. Is there any table that have details of a merged party?
