How to restrict access to Customer Page based on Customer Class

Summary:

Hi All,

We would like to restrict access to Customer Page (Both 'Create Customer' and 'Manage Customer') based on 'Customer Class'.

We have many 'Customer Class' defined in system such as 'Clinic', 'Pharma' etc. The requirement is for some users to have access to customer's only that Customer Class 'Clinic' and for some other users access to Customer Class 'Pharma' . Can this be achieved?

  1. Can we restrict this access using Custom Role?
  2. Can we achieve this using sandbox personalization/customization?

Any help related to this requirement is highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
